This feature does not appear to be available just yet, but it will come to a number of cities in 2023, including Amsterdam, Berlin, Dublin, Florence, Las Vegas, London, Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Paris, Seattle, San Francisco, San Jose, Tokyo, and Venice. Experience Street View, 3D Mapping, turn-by-turn directions, indoor maps and more across your devices. It's sort of like Live View but using 3D maps instead of an actual live view of where you are. Google also announced Immersive View for routes, which will allow you to get a bird's-eye view of your entire route to get a better idea of the area and conditions during a certain time of day. Explore the location like you usually do on Google Maps and Street View. ![]() Earth Engine is now available for commercial use, and remains free. Scientists, researchers, and developers use Earth Engine to detect changes, map trends, and quantify differences on the Earths surface. The feature is available on iOS and Android phones. Tap the Immersive View card from the pop-up menu at the bottom of the screen. You can zoom in and out, rotate by 90 degree and move around. Google Earth Engine combines a multi-petabyte catalog of satellite imagery and geospatial datasets with planetary-scale analysis capabilities. This is especially true for buildings that allow you to take a look inside, which I haven't been able to find outside of the one Google has used in its examples. ![]() In the Layer Pane, verify that fields are mapped correctly and click the drop-down arrow of. After a few seconds, the globe will appear next to the first screen of the Layer Pane. As such, not every landmark seems to support the feature, so you'll have to play around to see what buildings you can find that will allow you to jump into Immersive View. (Clicking 3D Map for the first time automatically enables 3D Maps.) 3D Maps uses Bing to geocode your data based on its geographic properties. ![]() Google's Immersive View takes Street View to the next level, allowing you to soar through 3D renderings of cities at different times. Keep in mind that more cities are gaining support for Immersive View. The Google Maps update we've been waiting for is finally here.
